About Kailua may be regarded as a world famous water-sports destination prized for its award-winning beaches. But what's most remarkable about Kailua is its residents. No other Oahu town pulls together for a cause quite like Kailua does! Celebrate the best of Kailua’s food, fun and spirit at this annual street festival and wellness fair as the community rallies to raise funds for friends and family affected by cancer. Festivities include food booths, local entertainment, carnival rides, celebrity appearances, health awareness booths, and more. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Castle Medical Center’s Chemotherapy Unit as well as Ho’ola Cancer Exercise Wellness Program. Castle’s Oncology Clinic provides a variety of outpatient services for patients battling cancer. Its approach to health and healing is patient-centered care and a comprehensive approach to wellness that tends to physical and emotional needs. The Ho’ola Cancer Exercise Wellness Program believes that exercise can and should be used to improve and enhance the recovery of cancer patients. Our program is formulated for all cancer patients who have become chronically fatigued or de-conditioned from various treatments or disease symptoms.
